At just 50-cents per tree, a gift of at least 10 trees will go a long way, covering a day’s wage for a local employee hired and trained to grow a forest at our pilot site in Arbegona, Ethiopia. This nursery project plant and grows seedlings that are given to local farmers, for free! By hiring local workers and empowering local farmers, the project injects an economic boost into the community, trees for food or fodder, and resources that help 1,000 students attend school.
