Animals are a strategic and valued resource for marginalized families. Animals that produce eggs and milk offer nutrition, and can provide a means of income or tuition for school. Reproduced animals can also be sold for significant gain for the family. One goat provided to a student at our school in Baraka, DRC, reproduced and generated enough income to help the family buy property and build a home!

All animals are not always available in every region at a given time. Your gift is roughly the cost of a specific animal, and ICCM leaders will use it to help acquire the most helpful agricultural resource a family needs. This resource may be a pig, and may also be appropriate crops, seedlings, or other relevant, most-needed items.
